Citizens' Climate Lobby Chapter

Chicago Southwest

Southwestern Chicagoland suburbs and southwest Chicago neighborhoods. Our home base is Brookfield, IL., Illinois
CCL Chicago Southwest & Friends at the 2015 Great Lakes Regional Conference
About Our Chapter
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization. Our chapter is just one of hundreds across the nation and the world, working to create and implement solutions to the climate change conundrum.
Our primary goal is creating the political will for Congress to enact the Carbon Fee and Dividend. This market-friendly policy will quickly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families. It's a best-case problem-solving partnership between government and the private sector.
Our IL Chicago Southwest chapter meets every second Saturday at the Brookfield Public Library from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.

We also make public presentations on climate science and policy, meet with community leaders to get their support, write letters to the editors of major newspapers, and meet with editorial boards. Each fall we join friends and colleagues from Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois at the locally held Great Lakes Regional Conference.

We want you to join us!
