About Our Chapter
Most people in southwest Washington are concerned about global warming and favor federal action to protect our way of life. The Lewis County chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby stands with hundreds of chapters throughout the U.S. and world working toward a revenue-neutral, moderate answer to global warming.

CCL is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, volunteer-driven organization that trains people how to engage with our federal government in a civil and productive way. We are laser focused on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution conservative policy experts, economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.

Our market-based Carbon Fee and Dividend policy will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families — all without growing government.

The Lewis County chapter is focused on training volunteers to be effective messengers and leaders who engage neighbors, businesses, families, organizations, local media and most importantly, our Congresswoman, in an all-in effort to ensure a livable world for our children and grandchildren.
