Led by CCL Communications Director Steve Valk, this workshop will focus on  meeting with the editorial boards of local newspapers and getting letters to the editor and opeds published.

Sam Daley-Harris will discuss what made RESULTS -- the organization he founded -- effective and how its methodology can be successfully applied to other organizations like Citizens Climate Lobby.

Workshop: Eliminating Fossil Fuel Subsidies

Led by Ben Schreiber of Friends of the Earth, this workshop will examine the subsidies and tax breaks given to coal and oil companies and efforts to eliminate them.

Workshop: Effective Meetings with Members of Congress

Davia Rivka leads this session where you will learn how to first connect human being to human being with your Member of Congress. You will learn how to listen for their concerns, discern where they are stuck, dispel misinformation and how to share stories that create emotional connection.  Only when you have their ear and their open mind can you make headway with the political agenda.
