Letter asking for CCL support

CCL USA Banner

Dear Friend of the Climate,

Each day as I read the news, I find vivid reminders of the climate crisis: Disappearing glaciers, raging wildfires, extreme droughts, record temperatures, severe storms. I would find this all CCL Capitol Hill 2013 croppedoverwhelming if not for Citizens Climate Lobby and our amazing cadre of volunteers.

Our more than 3,500 volunteers collectively work to solve the climate crisis by meeting with members of Congress, sharing their concerns about climate change with friends and family members, writing letters to the editor, giving presentations on climate change, and meeting with the editorial boards of major newspapers.

Are you concerned about climate change and the world our great grandchildren will inherit?  If so I hope you will join the CCL team by doing one or both of the following:

  1. Listening to one of our introductory calls which describe our legislative efforts and how we are working to solve the climate crisis. This call is every Wednesday night at 5:00pm Pacific/8:00pm Eastern, and you can register by clicking on this link:  http://citizensclimatelobby.org/options-for-action/start-a-group/introductory-call/
  1. Making a tax-deductible donation to our education efforts by writing a check to “Citizens Climate Education Corp” and mailing it to 1330 Orange Ave, Suite 300, Coronado, CA 92118; or donating by credit card here:  http://citizensclimatelobby.org/donate-or-register-support/

Your participation and/or financial support is a hope and a prayer for a stable climate and a brighter tomorrow for our future great grandchildren. I hope you will join our work today.

Thank you!
