Dr. James Hansen, NASA Goddard Institute: "Most impressive is the work of the Citizens' Climate Lobby, a relatively new, fast growing, nonpartisan, nonprofit group. If you want to join the fight to save the planet, to save creation for your grandchildren, there is no more effective step you could take than becoming an active member of this group."
Watch the Introduction to Citizens' Climate Lobby Australia video.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby Australia is a non-profit, nonparty-partisan, grassroots climate solutions advocacy organisation powered by volunteers, guided by our core values.
We are ordinary people engaging with our community and our elected representatives, to ask for their support for the adoption of an Australian Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.
This policy will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families, all without costing governments.
If you're someone who cares about our climate and wants to make a difference, you are invited to join an Australian chapter, join in the conversation at the CCL Australia Facebook Group, email us for further information and donate to the CCL Australia Climate Intern Program.
