About Our Chapter
Citizens Climate Lobby is a non-profit,  non-partisan grassroots advocacy organization, one of hundreds of chapters across the world that are working to create the political will for a livable world.
Climate change is happening in the SW. We are dependent on The Colorado River for agriculture, recreation, business and residential needs.  Our forests are suffering from extended drought and wildfire danger is a significant, year-round threat. Temperatures are rising fast.
Our response to these challenges is to build relationships with Congress and our community. Our solution is to place a fee on carbon and return the revenue to households.  Studies show our plan will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and save lives.

Meeting location -  We meet the second Saturday of every month at the Martha Cooper Library at 1377 N. Catalina Ave. Coffee and an introduction to CCL is at 9:30 and our meeting begins at 10:00am.
September 8th ONLY:   Our September gathering will take place in the afternoon, 2:30pm at the Pima County LIbrary, downtown.  It's the first of our series "Climate Change: Arizona's New Reality!" Don't miss these nationally recognized UA experts and student activists!!
