Southern Energy Freedom Tour
Southern Values, Southern Solutions
What is the Southern Energy Freedom Tour?
The tour is series of presentations in cities through LA, MS, AL, TX, and FL to engage folks on how we can improve American competitiveness, grow our vibrant economy, provide business certainty, clean our air and water, and manage climate risk appropriately.
We Southerners understand that a changing climate is already costing us – droughts, heat waves, increased fire activity, water shortages and more. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-partisan, nonprofit mobilizing Southerners to take action to stop climate change, protect our people and help the Deep Souths’ energy economy make a smooth transition.
Our market-based Carbon Fee and Dividend policy would create jobs, support small businesses and families, and reduce emissions — all without burdensome EPA regulations or growing the government.
Who are we?
