About Citizens’ Climate Lobby

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization which trains citizens how to be effective with their government.

We are laser focused both on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. Our plan, Carbon Fee and Dividend, is the one climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is a necessary step to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.

  • "As individuals, our choices control more than a third of U.S. carbon emissions. The rest is out of our control as individuals--but not as constituents. That’s why CCL is so important. It gives the ordinary citizen a voice to tell our elected leaders we want a real price on carbon."

Dr. Katharine HayhoeDr. Katharine HayhoeAtmospheric Scientist and Director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University
  • "CCL teems with enthusiasm and excitement in the search for solutions on climate change. Its positive spirit is its DNA. I'm grateful for the thousands who are devoted to the cause and open to free enterprise answers to climate change."
