Michael Jefferies is a Regional Coordinator for CCL, where he, among other things, coordinates with Citizen’s Climate Lobby’s volunteers in the Great Lakes and Appalachian Regions while aiming to bring in new ones. He has a particular passion for bringing in volunteers who identify as conservative or right-of-center. Inspired by his faith to address climate and energy issues, Michael has either volunteered for, or worked professionally on, environmental issues for five years.
Prior to coming to CCL, Michael worked for a political consulting firm where he coordinated political campaigns and coordinated legislative affairs, and managed two non-profit associations. Before that, Michael worked for multiple political campaigns and the State of Indiana.
Michael graduated from Marian University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Theology. A native Hoosier, he lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Kennedy, and his daughter, Evelyn. When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys reading good books, hiking, playing frisbee golf, and spending time with his family.
