Tech company founder joins CCL governing board

June 2026 – Tech company founder and longtime CCL volunteer Alison Holtzschue joins Citizens’ Climate Lobby governing board this month, bringing experience and energy that will support CCL’s success in the coming years.

“CCL has an incredible track record of empowering volunteers to be successful advocates for climate policy across the political spectrum,” Alison says. “I’m excited to help CCL advance its crucial work.”

Alison herself is one of those empowered volunteers, having served as the liaison to the office of Sen. Marco Rubio, and now Sen. Ashley Moody, since Nov. 2019. She has earned a reputation of being thoughtful and effective, with another board member saying, “She’s the best liaison I’ve ever worked with.”

Originally from New York, Alison founded computers dot mom, llc, in 1998. In addition to her professional perspective and firsthand knowledge of CCL’s advocacy, she brings decades of experience in nonprofit volunteer fundraising and board service.

“What excites me most is Alison’s enthusiasm for where CCL is headed,” says CCL Executive Director Ricky Bradley. “I appreciate her willingness to bring that enthusiasm and all her expertise to the table as a board member.”

Alison’s role begins with the second quarter board meeting, taking place early this month.
