Vice President of Operations
A diverse blend of experiences marks Ricky Bradley’s journey to and with Citizens’ Climate Lobby. An Auburn University alumnus, Ricky ventured from sports broadcasting to a media career in Utah and Alabama. His academic pursuits took him to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and later to an MBA from Southern Methodist University, focusing on strategy and entrepreneurship. His career spanned roles in media, systems management, and an eight-year stint in HSBC’s financial sector, rising to Senior Manager in Quality Credit Operations. Ricky’s entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of eRicky Internet.
A pivotal moment arrived during a career hiatus, caring for his mother and discovering Dr. James Hansen’s Storms of My Grandchildren. It introduced him to CCL and Carbon Fee and Dividend (CF&D) as a solution that matches the scale of climate change. Ricky’s academic background affirmed CF&D’s significance, and he valued CCL’s transformative approach to advocacy. Joining CCL in 2012, he climbed the ranks, from a Volunteer Group Leader to the Vice President of Operations, enhancing CCL’s organizational strategy and operations along the way.
In his role, Ricky is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving cross-functional alignment across CCL’s programs and initiatives, and overseeing CCL’s strategy deployment while also managing the execution of CCL’s projects and initiatives.
Ricky enjoys life in Dallas, TX, with his husband Eric, their close friends, and their dogs 🐶 Max and Abbie.
