Join the Citizens’ Climate Lobby Chicago Northside Chapter
Chicago (Northside), Illinois
Chicago
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power. Our chapter is just one of hundreds of chapters across the world working to create the political will for a livable world.
Together, we work for the passage of a national Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. We’ve seen firsthand how passionate citizens who are well-trained, organized by district, and have a good support system can be more influential in the political process.
If you'd like to learn more about how to be involved with our chapter, please email us at *protected email*.
Monthly meetings are on the second Saturday of each month from 11am to 12pm. Our monthly meetings are always available online (email us for the zoom link), and we sometimes do hybrid meetings, with the in-person part in the Lakeview neighborhood, Chicago, at the Second Unitarian Church on 656 W. Barry St., 60657. We also host various events around the city (covid and weather permitting).
