Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Medford, Belmont, Watertown, Waltham, Newton., Massachusetts
Please ask your U.S. Representative to co-sponsor the bipartisan 'Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act' - H.R. 763. Let them know that urgently addressing climate change is your #1 issue!
Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a national nonprofit and nonpartisan grassroots advocacy organization.
The CCL Boston Chapter covers the greater Boston area in eastern Massachusetts. Like all of CCL, we are focused on advocating for a national Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. Our local actions toward this goal include:
  • Lobbying our MA Senators and Congresspeople to support a Carbon Dividend
  • Building support among Boston residents for a Carbon Dividend, via social media, letters-to-the-editor in local newspapers, and tabling at farmers markets
  • Engaging community leaders in dialogue on climate policy
  • Sharing a welcoming, friendly chapter that helps people find fulfillment in community and climate action.
Our chapter meets virtually on the third Wednesday of each month. Please fill out the sign up form on the right of this page to receive the meeting link.
