Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a national nonprofit and nonpartisan grassroots advocacy organization.

CCL Boston is our chapter covering greater Boston, Massachusetts, including all the nearby towns. We have many talented and motivated group members, including great speakers, writers, scientists, students, health care professionals, concerned community activists and community outreach and tabling organizers. We excel at LTE writing and meet regularly to write LTE's. We are published in MA papers and around the country. The greater Boston chapter meets every month at 6pm, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at MIT, in building 2, room 136. NOTE: DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS, WE WILL NOT BE MEETING IN PERSON UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE. WE WILL HAVE A MONTHLY CALL IN AND ONLINE ZOOM MEETING ON THE SAME DATE AND AT THE SAME TIME. If you have any questions, please text or call Yannick at 917.584.4420. Thank you!

As part of National CCL, we are laser focused on a specific piece of legislation which was re-introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives. 'The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act', the climate change bill and solution that economists and climate scientists say would be the best and quickest way to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. In addition to reducing carbon emissions, it turns out that the newly introduced bill would also have enormously positive economic and health impacts.

"The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (H.R. 763) will drive down America's carbon pollution and bring climate change under control, while unleashing American technology innovation and ingenuity." Please visit: www.energyinnovationact.org
