Development Officer
Carolyn Weaver is a passionate environmentalist with a decade of experience in nonprofits focused on urban forestry, environmental education, food justice, organic farming, and permaculture. She brings a strong background in donor relations, fundraising strategy, and grant management to her role as Development Officer at Citizens’ Climate Education and Citizens’ Climate Lobby. Carolyn oversees a donor portfolio and contributes to fundraising efforts that engage supporters and help build the political will to advance climate solutions.
Carolyn’s dedication to environmental stewardship grew from a childhood spent camping in national parks and exploring Ohio forests. A Cleveland native, she earned a B.S. in both Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Tulane University in New Orleans before relocating to Austin, TX. Outside of work, Carolyn spends her time singing, traveling, hiking, creating art, and enjoying Austin’s vibrant music scene.
