North Wind Regional Director and Liaison Program Coordinator
Mindy Ahler, North Wind Regional Director and Liaison Program Coordinator, guides and supports chapter leaders and volunteers in the North Wind region in their incredible work to create a livable world. Her project management experience aids her in guiding volunteers to set goals, devise new strategies and meet their plans. Mindy’s technical experience provides a good platform for supporting volunteers in utilizing tools available to them. A deep social justice background and experience as a volunteer and community educator give Mindy additional skills and conviction to motivate and train CCL leaders.
To recharge, Mindy enjoys cross-country skiing, paddling her kayak or canoe, wilderness camping and long bike rides (like across the US for 13 weeks). “There is nothing like human power moving through the water, woods or back country roads while listening to the silence, wind, birds, rustling leaves, water splashing, my own breathing and heart pumping to refresh the deepest recesses of my soul and remind me how beautiful it is to be alive.”
