About Our Chapter
We are a very active chapter, writing letters to the local papers that get published, giving talks to local groups in the community, and meeting with our elected representatives to lobby for Carbon Fee and Dividend. We have members who went to Paris for the international climate talks, Washington DC for the conference and lobbying Congress, and we helped organize our regional CCL conference. This year we intend to find new members and expand into other nearby cities/Congressional districts.

We are laser focused on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. At the same time, our market-based Carbon Fee and Dividend policy will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families — all without growing government.

Our chapter has seen firsthand how passionate citizens who are well-trained, organized by Congressional district and with a good system of support can more than influence the political process.
