Join the Citizens’ Climate Lobby Kansas City Chapter
Kansas City (Missouri), Missouri
Missouri CCLers lobby at Representative Cleaver's Washington office on June 11, 2019.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national legislation to implement carbon pricing, such as Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.
Our chapter volunteers also work on many local issues such as the Regional Climate Action Plan, municipal climate action plans, energy efficient building codes, urban reforestation, household electrification, and a host of other concrete actions geared toward making "net-zero" a reality in the metropolitan area.
Visit our local website at KCCCL.org for current information on our activities.
