Content Marketing Manager
As CCL’s Content Marketing Manager, Elissa acts as a metaphorical air traffic controller, guiding the development and execution of a strategic content plan that supports CCL’s websites, social media, and volunteer chapters. She takes a detail-oriented approach to meeting specific, quantitative marketing goals while meeting qualitative standards for effective, resonant content that spreads CCL’s message and empowers volunteers. Prior to joining the CCL team, Elissa worked in marketing agencies in the Cleveland, Ohio area where she learned the fine arts of copywriting, project management, SEO, content strategy and the importance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In her spare time, Elissa volunteers with the Cleveland Metroparks park system assisting with restoration projects, water quality monitoring and educational outreach. She also co-chairs the Marketing team for the Herd, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s young professionals organization working to promote wildlife conservation. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Cleveland State University. Outside of work, Elissa can always be found either hiking, traveling, at the gym, crocheting, sewing, reading, and/or caring for her small menagerie of pets.
