Citizens' Climate Lobby Chapter

Ventura, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Ojai, Camarillo, Santa Paula, Fillmore, California
Ron, Jan, Vicki and Brett with CCL's Executive Director Mark Reynolds.
About Our Chapter
Our main monthly meeting is usually on second Saturday mornings 9:45 til noon in East Ventura near Hwy 101 and Victoria Avenue. We also get together for socializing, watching webinars, and letter writing. We collaborate with a newer group in our Congressional District, Conejo Valley CCL. We are a partner organization of the Ventura County Climate Hub an affiliate of 350.

Our Member of Congress Julia Brownley knows and appreciates our work. We are working on getting endorsements from local public officials and leaders of thought. Our guest columns and letters to the editor are published regularly in the Ventura County Star and other local papers.

We trust CCL's proven strategy to gain passage of a federal Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. We're proud that our State Assemblyman Das Williams authored a California Resolution AJR43 urging Congress to enact the legislation we are lobbying for.

We invite you to join us in our work to enact Carbon Fee and Dividend that will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families — all without growing government.
