Citizens' Climate Lobby Chapter

Denver South Metro

Littleton, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and South Denver, Colorado
Citizen's Climate Lobby educates their fellow citizens about climate change and effective solutions through tabling, writing letters to editor, and lobbying members of Congress.
About Our Chapter
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering everyday people to work together on climate change solutions. Our chapter is just one of hundreds of chapters across the world working to create the political will for a livable world. Together we're building support in Congress for a national bipartisan solution to climate change.

We are laser focused on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. We build consensus through respectful relationships with others.

Our revenue-neutral, market-based Carbon Fee and Dividend policy will drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families — all without growing government. We’ve seen firsthand how passionate citizens who are well-trained, organized by district and with a good system of support can more than influence the political process.

Come join us! Drop-ins welcome.

We meet the third Monday of every month at the First Universalist Church on Hampden and Colorado, 4101 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80222. We meet in the basement.
