Our chapter is excited to be taking action that addresses climate change in the Uncompahgre Valley and its communities.

In addition to supporting CCL's national level goals, we've developed local goals to make a difference where we live, work, and play. We focus on educating our communities about the dangers and opportunities brought about by climate change, collaborate with local governtments and other groups to reduce greenhouse gases generated here, and strive to find incentives that will make people want to undertake these changes.

With new federal funding available and growing public awareness, now is the time we can make a real difference in cutting greenhouse gases right here, and growing public support for these efforts along the way.
