Join the Citizens’ Climate Lobby Washington Chapter

Washington, District of Columbia
Members of CCL DC meet with DC Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton during 2016 July Lobby Day
Citizens’ Climate Lobby empowers people to exercise their personal and political power for climate solutions. Our DC chapter is just one of hundreds of chapters across the world working to create the political will for a livable world.

We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend--the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world. This policy would drastically reduce emissions, create jobs, and support small businesses and families. We also have priorities for healthy forests, building electrification, and clean energy permitting reform.

We’ve seen firsthand how passionate citizens who are well-trained, organized by district and with a good system of support can more than influence the political process.

Contact us here to request a presentation on climate action.

Our meetings are on the second Saturday of the month. Join now to get updates on meeting location and details!
