Citizens' Climate Lobby of Rochester (CCL ROC) was founded in 2013 and has been working to build political will for Carbon Fee and Dividend in our area ever since. We are building a strong relationship with our Representative in congressional District NY-25 and with our Senators Schumer and Gillibrand.
Chapter Meetings Our monthly chapter meetings are open to all, on the 3rd Monday of the month. Contact *protected email* for meeting details, or to learn about ways to get involved.
Action Teams - Media Team - Lobby Team - Municipal Outreach Team - Public Outreach Team - Business Climate Leaders - Faith Outreach - Higher Ed (with teams at U of R, RIT, MCC and more) - High School Outreach About Citizens' Climate Lobby National Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization laser-focused on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.
