Citizens' Climate Lobby Chapter

Corvallis, Oregon
About Our Chapter
Our Corvallis CCL Chapter meets on the second Thursdays of the month at the North Coop Meeting Room at 5 PM.  At our monthly meetings, we do education, celebration, and planning.  We always welcome new members!

Our Chapter does public outreach, lobbying, and letter writing.  Because there are a lot of groups in Corvallis interested in climate, there are also opportunities to partner with other groups on actions.  We have met with Rep. Peter DeFazio several times, and are in contact with his staff.

Citizens' Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power. Our chapter is just one of hundreds of chapters across the world working to create the political will for a livable world.

We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.
