About Our Chapter
If you are concerned about global warming and want to do something positive about it, come see what Citizens’ Climate Lobby is all about.

The Portland, Oregon chapter meets at 9:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month at Base Camp Brewing, 930 SE Oak Street. Coffee, treats and casual conversation for new members and others begins at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

Our chapter is currently working on:
*Lobbying: Meet with our Members of Congress to champion CCL's
legislation: Senator Merkley, Senator Wyden, Representative Bonamici
(District 1) and Representative Blumenauer (District 3).

*Media: Write letters to the editor and work to get op-eds published. We are
also building relationships with our local papers: The Oregonian and the
Portland Tribune.

*Grassroots Outreach: Table at local events to talk to Portlanders about
getting involved in climate action.

*Grasstops Outreach: Build relationships with Portland business owners, community leaders, and other environmental groups to create a strong alliance for climate.

*Chapter Development: Welcome new members, engage all members in meaningful actions to support passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend legislation.

Come join us for inspiration and discover some concrete action that makes a difference.
