Alison Kubicsko

National Events Manager

Alison Kubicsko started with CCE/CCL in 2015 through an internship with CCL’s Marketing and Events Manager, helping with the coordination of the International Conferences and November Lobby Days. As National Events Manager, Alison continues to support the organization of CCE/CCL’s D.C. conferences and along with the marketing and volunteer teams, develops resources volunteers use in the field.

Alison’s interest in environmental issues was sparked when she was 13 years old and her older sister worked at the National Recycling Coalition (NRC). Alison was fascinated by NRC’s involvement with Nike’s Reuse a Shoe program, and fell in love with the idea of conserving our resources and reusing them wisely. Alison attended Stony Brook University (Long Island, NY) earning her BA in Environmental Studies in 2012, and MBA concentrating in General Management in 2014. Her Project Management Professor once told her class, “Be comfortable with being uncomfortable.” This saying has resonated with Alison, especially in relation to her work with CCL. Having personal breakthroughs begins with working outside your comfort zone and working a little harder.

Alison lives on Long Island in NY and enjoys Long Island’s ocean beaches, campgrounds, and walking trails. She loves attending NY Mets baseball games at Citifield with her fiance, and brother.
