Development Director
Ashley Skoch supports CCE in building collaborative and impactful relationships with foundations, corporations and non-governmental organizations. She develops proposals and manages grant processes that contribute to the organization’s development efforts.
Ashley is bilingual in English/Spanish and brings over 6 years of experience working in the international development and philanthropic sectors throughout the Americas. She draws upon a diverse career focused on youth and gender issues, economic and endogenous development, nonprofit leadership and public health.
Formerly the Grants and Operations Officer at Seattle International Foundation (SIF), Ashley oversaw over $15 million in grants to more than 180 nonprofit organizations in 70 countries during her five years with the foundation. In addition, she contributed to successful grant writing efforts to advance the organization’s work. Prior to this, she served as the Program Manager at Tekojoa Women’s Cooperative in Paraguay where she drove income-generating activities to provide economic opportunities for rural women.
Ashley is originally from the Pacific Northwest and currently resides in San Diego, California. She spends her free time rock climbing, backpacking and traveling the world.
