Northeast Regional Coordinator
As a long-time advocate for effective and equitable climate policy, Peter Dugas is thrilled to serve as CCL’s Northeast Regional Coordinator. He is committed to building relationships across his region to cultivate the will for climate solutions that meet the scale and scope of the climate crisis. Peter serves as the Maine State Coordinator, Portland chapter co-leader and as co-liaison to Senator Angus King (I-ME). He is a member of the CCL Outdoor Industry Action Team, EN-ROADS Action Team and the Catholic Action Team.
Peter is a devoted EN-ROADS Climate Ambassador and won the 2021 Maine Sunday Telegram Source Award for his work bringing more voices to advocate for ambitious climate policy. Peter has been concerned about anthropogenic climate change since earning a degree in Physics and Engineering from Brown University. Peter is also a working musician, an avid winter sports enthusiast, and stays busy rehabbing his historic building for energy efficiency in downtown Portland, Maine where he lives with his wife and daughter.
