Gianna Sollitto (she/her/hers) serves as CCE/CCL’s Grant Writer, producing impactful, mobilizing Development content and cultivating relationships with strategic partners. She is a passionate advocate for Citizens’ Climate’s mission with strong personal convictions around sustainability, human rights, conservation, and low-waste living.
Drawing from a diverse background in public relations, marketing, and event planning, prior to CCE/CCL, Gianna served as Marketing & Events Coordinator for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Community Center in Newport, Rhode Island. She brings over 7 years of experience in nonprofits, copywriting, and engagement strategy to CCE/CCL’s Development team.
A lifelong Rhode Islander, Gianna is from North Scituate and currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island. She studied communication, marketing, and creative writing at Bryant University. Her creative writing has been featured in two undergraduate literary publications, photography displayed in two local galleries, and her public relations portfolio boasts national and international media placement. She is active in her community, currently serving on the Sustainable Sourcing Committee for Urban Greens Co-Op Market and as a volunteer with Swing Left Rhode Island, among others. In her free time, you’ll probably find her with a 35mm camera in-hand, talking to her houseplants, thrift shopping, or enjoying good food with friends & family.
