Amanda Rivera began working with Citizens Climate Lobby in October 2019 as the Senior Staff Accountant. Her role consists of providing support to the Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, and Compliance Specialist as well as assisting the Chief Financial Officer with budgeting, cash flow, annual audits, and financial reports.
Amanda received a B.S. in Physics from the College of William and Mary in 2015 and an M.A. in Finance from Colorado State University in 2018. Amanda first developed a passion for environmental issues while participating in the NASA DEVELOP Program working on a project assessing pollution risk in the Denver, CO watershed system.
Amanda spends her spare time testing new recipes, playing video games, traveling with her husband, and reading up on modern-day humanitarian issues.
