Program Director & Great Lakes Regional Director
As a Program Director and Great Lakes Regional Director, Elizabeth supports existing chapters and helps add new ones in the Great Lakes Region. She started as a chapter leader with CCL in 2013 and has been a congressional liaison and state coordinator along the way. Elizabeth enjoys troubleshooting challenges faced by volunteers and providing or directing them to tools and resources to help them in their work. She treasures the friendships and connections she’s made with the most motivated and committed group of people she’s ever known.
After graduating with a B.S. in Social Science with an emphasis in environmental issues, Elizabeth worked for The Nature Conservancy and a local land use planning non-profit. She took a break from the non-profit world for several years but jumped back in shortly after her son began elementary school, and she had her “Eureka” moment about what to do about her climate angst when learning about Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Elizabeth lives in Traverse City, Michigan with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, and the delicious foods grown in her region.
